FRISCO – Plano-based residential developer Green Brick Partners has acquired 96 acres for a new $170 million residential project.

Frisco Springs will have 350 single-family homes and townhomes along Eldorado Pkwy. between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Rd. The initial phase will begin early this summer. Model homes will open in spring 2017.

CB JENI Homes, Green Brick Partners’ subsidiary, is the homebuilder for Frisco Springs. Other single-family home lots — some up to a quarter of an acre — are expected to be sold to third-party builders.

Plans for the development include 20 acres of open space with walking trails connecting the community to a $1.5 million amenity center.
