Embassy Suites in The Woodlands opens its doors to guests
THE WOODLANDS – The new Embassy Suites Hotel at Hughes Landing in The Woodlands opened its doors.
The 205-room hotel, developed and managed by The Woodlands Development Co., a subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corp., will be the only hotel in the mixed-use development.
At 172,000 sf, the all-suite-hotel on Lake Woodlands features a new restaurant and market named E’terie, a 24-hour fitness center, conference space, ballrooms and a pool located on the 4,000-sf rooftop deck.
The hotel will be located near the mixed-use development’s Restaurant Row, which reached the 100 percent leased mark last month. Restaurants in the center include upscale dining options like Local Pour, Escalante’s, Del Frisco’s Grille and The Blue Fish.
Hughes Landing also features office space, apartments and nearly 100,000 more sf of retail. The area’s first luxury apartments welcomed residents earlier this year.
The Woodlands Development Co. completed three buildings at Hughes Landing during 4Q, according to a report from PMRG. The three buildings total 970,739 sf and two of them are fully leased by Exxon Mobil Corp.
