THE WOODLANDS – The new Embassy Suites Hotel at Hughes Landing has officially opened its doors.

The 205-room hotel, developed and managed by a subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corp., The Woodland Development Co., will be the only hotel in the mixed-use development.

The 172,000-sf, all-suite hotel on Lake Woodlands has a restaurant and market named E’terie, a 24-hour fitness center, conference space, ballrooms and a pool on the 4,000-sf rooftop deck.

It is near Hughes Landing’s Restaurant Row, which recently became fully leased.

Hughes Landing also has office space, apartments and nearly 100,000 sf of retail. The area’s first luxury apartments welcomed residents early this year.

Arch Con Construction is the project’s general contractor, and Mitchell Carlson Stone is the architect.
