SAN ANTONIO – A four-story La Quinta Inn & Suites is being
planned for the East Side.
Construction of the 73-room hotel, at 2011 Southeast Loop
410, is expected to begin in April and will last until April of next year,
according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The hotel will cost $4.75 million, will span 49,470 sf and have a pool.
Over the last few months, plans have been revealed for several
new hotels in San Antonio:
- Kansas-based WaterWalk Hotel Apartments plans to build two
complexes in San Antonio mixing apartments and hotel rooms.
- A four-story, 69-room Best Western Plus is set to be built
along I-10 on the East Side.
- A 90-room Holiday Inn Express is planned for the West Side
near the intersection of US 90 and West Military Dr.
- A four-story Marriott TownePlace Suites is expected to begin
construction Jan. 2016 on the Northwest Side.
- WoodSpring Hotels plans to build three hotels in San Antonio.
TheISOLA, a $36 million complex of apartments
and extended stay hotel rooms, is planned for the West Side.
