​​RICHARDSON – A California-based investment partnership has purchased a data center at the University of Texas at Dallas campus.

San Francisco-based GI Partners has purchased the Synergy Park data center located at 3001 Waterview Parkway on the north side of the University of Texas at Dallas campus.
The 300,000-sf data center and office complex was built in 1989 and later renovated. The property is used by both the university and data center tenants.
GI Partners bought the property for a $500 million fund it manages for the California State Teachers’ Retirement System.​
