SAN ANTONIO – It may still be putting the final touches on
its newest development in downtown San Antonio, but Greystar is already setting
up plans for its next project further north.

The South Carolina-based development firm is under contract
for a 4.3-acre site in Stone Oak at the La Arcata mixed-use development along
the northern rim of Loop 1604.

Once the sale closes — which is expected to happen sometime
in the next 30 to 60 days — Greystar will be able to move forward with its
plans to bring a 143-unit complex to La Arcata.

According to the construction permit filed for the project, Greystar
plans to call the development Overture at Stone Oak.

The project is expected to cost about $22.5 million to
construct and will be designed by Houston-based architecture firm Meeks
Partners.

Greystar expects to start work in February and
wrap up in about 24 months.
