TYLER – The City of Tyler has grown immensely in the past few years. The real estate market was extremely successful in 2015.
The amount of homes sold increased by 350 in one year, which is a great comeback from previous years when markets were down, according to Rebecca Burks of The Burks Team.
Burks says the boost in the economy brought people back into the market.
First-time homebuyers made up about one-third of the market, and the baby boomer generation is also getting ready to make a move. They expect to see more of that in 2016.
Burks predicts an even more successful 2016, with perhaps slightly higher interest rates.
