BAYTOWN – Houston-based Clay Development & Construction Inc. has purchased nearly 80 acres in the Cedar Port Industrial Park from TGS Cedar Port Partners to develop Cedar Port Distribution Park.
Clay will build a total of 1.5 million sf in three rail-served, dock-high distribution facilities on the site, located on Borusan Rd. and FM 1405.
Construction on the first building, Cedar Port Distribution Phase I, at 4830 Borusan Rd., begins this month. It will include 501,020 sf on 26.4 acres. The interior will feature 32-foot clear-height ceilings, 50-by-52-foot columnspacings and 60-foot loading bays. Completion is slated for August 2016.
