AOI, Skanska top out duo (but not a Christmas tree) in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND - Applied Optoelectronics Inc. (AOI) and Skanska USA recently celebrated a topping-out ceremony of the new expansion building adjacent to the current AOI headquarters in Sugar Land. The new expansion projects include two buildings.

The first building under construction is a 106,000-sf, three-story concrete facility. Additionally, Skanska topped out a second 10,000-sf building.

This $30 million expansion project is expected to be completed by April 2016.
