107K-SF Baytown Plaza retail center purchased by Amirex

​​​BAYTOWN – In another deal showing the strength of east side of Houston, Amirex Capital Services has purchased Baytown Plaza, a 107,000-sf retail center on Garth Rd. in Baytown.

Amirex Capital Services bought the center, which is 98 percent occupied, located 25 miles east of downtown Houston. 

Some $100 billion is being spent on chemical plant expansions in the regional, generating significant blue-collar job growth, residential and retail activity.

The eastern side of the Houston area has been gaining momentum because of blue-collar job growth related to massive chemical plant expansions in the region.
