DALLAS - Less than six months after buying the high-profile corner of Woodall Rodgers Fwy. and Pearl St. in the Dallas Arts District, developer Lincoln Property Co. is breaking ground on a 25-story office high-rise.

The 260,000-sf metal and glass tower will go up right next door to the Dallas Symphony Center.

In June, Lincoln bought the vacant corner — used for 20 years as a greenspace and site of a large sculpture — from the Dallas Symphony Foundation.

The building’s ground floor will include spaces for two restaurants and open in about 18 months.

On the 14th floor there will be a conference center, meeting rooms and hospitality area for businesses located in the tower.

The half-acre property is one of the last available development sites in the Arts District.
