LANCASTER - An investment partnership between MetLife Real Estate Investors and Panattoni Development Co. LLC has landed a 250-acre master-planned industrial park, a rare opportunity in southern Dallas County.

Plans for MidPoint Logistics Center — a multiphase, built-to-suit industrial park — include four buildings totaling 3.9 million sf of industrial space with the ability to accommodate tenants ranging from 340,000 sf to 1.6 million sf.

To date, the biggest industrial building in North Texas is the $55 million, 1.4 million-sf Procter & Gamble Co. distribution center near I-20 in Wilmer.

If built, a 1.6 million-sf industrial building would become the largest in the region.

The would-be tenants range from e-commerce distributors and food and beverage companies to third-party logistics providers.

Those tenants would benefit from the strategic location of MidPoint Logistics Center, which sits along I-20 between I-35 and I-45.
