AUSTIN - Global data center solutions provider CyrusOne has opened its Austin III data center, its third in the Austin area.
The first phase, which was recently completed, provides 55,000 colocation sf and up to three megawatts of power.
The new building — located at 7100 Metropolis Dr. — will add nearly 120,000 colocation sf, up to 18 megawatts of critical power capacity and 25,000 sf of Class A office space at full build.
The Austin III data center is one of CyrusOne's 31 facilities spread around the globe and is also part of its National Internet Exchange (IX) to enable interconnection to other CyrusOne data centers in Texas and beyond.
