​​AUSTIN – ​​Texas added 24,100 private-sector jobs last month, ADP says in its latest regional employment report.

Most, 97.5 percent, of private non-farm jobs were in service-providing sectors. The remaining 600 jobs were in the goods-producing sectors.

The trade, transportation and utilities sector was the top industry for growth in November, adding 6,000 new jobs. The professional and business services industry added 5,000 jobs.

The natural resources, mining and construction industry and the manufacturing industry each added 300 jobs. 

Nationwide, 217,000 non-farm private sector jobs were created last month.
