DALLAS – Apartment builder Mill Creek Residential started construction on a 207-unit building on Cedar Springs Rd., a block south of Oak Lawn Avenue.
"We closed on the site on Friday and have started," said Mill Creek’s Rick Perdue. "It doesn’t get any faster than that."
The six-story rental community is being built on a former parking lot purchased from Oak Lawn Methodist Church.
The building — called Modera Turtle Creek — will open in late 2017.
The Oak Lawn apartment project is the second recent start by Mill Creek as the developer is building a 321-unit rental community next door to the Dallas Galleria on Noel Rd. just north of LBJ Freeway.
