SW Austin 108-room Residence Inn rising

​​​AUSTIN - Hotel development isn’t limited to signature projects in downtown. 

​​Austin-based Pathfinder Development is building a 108-room Residence Inn by Marriott on 5.2 acres at 6000 W. US Hwy. 290, midway between Industrial Oaks Blvd. and West William Cannon Dr. in the Oak Hill neighborhood of Southwest Austin.

The hotel is scheduled to open in October 2016 and will be operated by Pathfinder, which also owns and manages a Holiday Inn Express in Northwest Austin.

Amenities will include a resort-style pool with a fire pit and technology-heavy meeting space.​
