​​EL PASO – Five industrial buildings in the Butterfield Trail Industrial Park near the El Paso International Airport have been bought by a Louisiana company’s real estate fund.

The properties are part of a 149-building purchase in three cities. The other buildings are in Dallas and New Orleans.

One of the buildings is the Lucchese boot factory at 40 Walter Jones. The others are at 21 Leigh Fisher, 27 Leigh Fisher/20 Founders, 27 Concord, and 19 Butterfield Trail.

They were appraised for tax purposes at more than $8 million by the El Paso Central Appraisal District. The Butterfield Trail Industrial Park is operated by the El Paso International Airport, which leases the land to building owners.

The fivbuildings total about 400,000 sf and are fully occupied.
