SAN ANTONIO - Demand once again topped supply levels, both
on a quarterly, 2,141 units to 1,432 units, and annual, 6,048 units to 4,902 units,
In turn, occupancy improved 0.5 points in the quarter and
was up 0.9 points year-over-year landing at 94.5 percent in third quarter 2015.
With occupancy tightening, apartment operators
in San Antonio pushed rents up 1.6 percent in the quarter. Year-over-year,
rents were up 4.4 percent, a three-year high. That topped San Antonio’s
five-year average of 2.9 percent.
