Hotel Indigo splashes blue on DFW map again, hitting Frisco

​​​FRISCO – Hotel Indigo will open a second North Texas location in Frisco by summer 2017.

The other Hotel Indigo in North Texas is located in downtown Dallas. 

The developer, Dabu Hotels, is expected to break ground in the next two months on the new hotel at 3150 Avenue of the Stars.

The six-story, 110-room hotel will also include Blacklands Bar & Grill.

"The Hotel Indigo brand is focused on growing in top-tier markets around the country and is excited for the upcoming opening in Frisco," Hotel Indigo spokesperson Abby Jensen said.

Hotel Indigo is a global boutique hotel brand with 61 hotels set to open within the next three to five years including in Frisco, Jensen said.

Hotel Indigo Frisco would add to the increasing number of hotels in Frisco, which is an indicator of the city’s growth, City Manager George Purefoy said.
