COLLEGE STATION – Mark your calendars! The Real Estate Center and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas are partnering on a Texas housing conference Feb. 12.
"Finding Shelter: Assessing Texas Residential Real Estate Amid the Oil Slump" will be at 2200 N. Pearl St. in Dallas.
The one-day conference will explore housing trends, challenges and outlook. Experts will discuss prospects for the U.S. and Texas economies, and address what’s ahead for Texas real estate and energy sectors.
Featured speakers will include:
- David Brown, senior vice president, West Region, Metrostudy;
- Jim Gaines, chief economist, Real Estate Center, Texas A&M University;
- Bill Gilmer, director, Bauer College of Business Institute for Regional Forecasting, University of Houston;
