Construction starts on 447-unit Rowlett multifamily

​​​​ROWLETT – Transcontinental Realty Investors has started construction on a 447-unit, four-story residential development off the shore of Lake Hubbard.

Called Terra Lago, the Mediterranean-style apartment complex will have a fitness center, community room, courtyard pool, outdoor cooking area and structured parking. 

Terra Lago is part of Realize Rowlett 2020, a city initiative that is expected to remodel the city’s shores into a "wellness preserve" with aquatic habitats​, a kayak/canoe launch, nature trails, boardwalk, playground and fishing pier.

Portfolio Development is the developer of the community, which is expected to deliver in 2017.
