Austin, Dallas streets make list of most expensive U.S. addresses
AUSTIN – JLL’s "2015 Most Expensive Streets" report ranks Congress Ave. in Austin and McKinney Ave. in Dallas among the top ten most expensive streets in the country on which to do business.
Office prices along Congress Ave. average $48.11 per sf for full service rents, placing it as the No. 7 most expensive street in a Central Business District (CBD) and at No. 11 for streets overall.
McKinney Ave., averaging $43.81 per sf, ranked No. 10 for a CBD street, and lands in the top 20 in the overall most-expensive list.
Louisiana St. in Houston, which also lands in the top 20 in the overall most expensive list, ranked No. 11 for a CBD street.
The top three most expensive U.S. streets for office space in a CBD include Fifth Ave., Manhattan ($119.27 psf), Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, Conn. ($90.25 psf), and Mission St., San Francisco ($89.58 psf).
The top three most expensive U.S. streets overall include Sand Hill Rd., Menlo Park, Calif. ($141.60 psf); Hamilton Ave., Palo Alto, Calif. ($124.44 psf); and Fifth Ave., Manhattan ($119.27 psf).
