Main Street Hub adds another spoke in Downtown Austin
AUSTIN - Main Street Hub, a provider of marketing and social media services to small businesses, continues to scale up in downtown Austin and has leased 47,000 sf at One Congress Plaza at 111 Congress Ave.
They expect to move into the 12th and 13th floors of One Congress Plaza next spring.
With 400 employees currently downtown and bursting at the seams at two offices, Co-CEOs Andrew Allison and Matt Stuart have been shopping for new space for quite some time.
Currently, the company occupies 33,000 sf at One American Center at 600 Congress Ave. and 22,000 sf at the Perry Brooks Building at 720 Brazos St.
Allison and Stuart said they considered new building opportunities, but were convinced One Congress Plaza is the way to go — even though the 30-story, pyramid-shaped office building is nearly 30 years old.
Allison said Austin-based STG Design will transform the space into something very cool, which a search is underway for a general contractor.
That means the company is set to become one of the largest tenants in the Central Business District with about 80,000 sf, though Allison said they have directed Aquila Commercial to sublease the company’s space at the Perry Brooks Building.
"We’re big believers in downtown Austin," Allison said.
