TAR: Wichita Falls home sales looking up
WICHITA FALLS – The housing market is looking up, as Wichita Falls home sales increased by 14.7 percent in third quarter 2015 to 719 single-family homes sales, according to the Texas Association of Realtors.
"There is no question that water and rain have contributed tremendously in a positive way to what we’re seeing in Wichita Falls, TX," DeeAnn Martin, Co-Owner and Broker for Advantage Real Estate said.
A city recently suffering from a nearly five-year drought is now flourishing when it comes to home sales.
From August to September, the Wichita Falls Association of Realtor’s pending sales went up from 92 to 171.
The association is also seeing an $8 million increase in total volume from this time last year.
