LAKE JACKSON – Dallas-based Centennial Real Estate Company and Atlantic Creek Real Estate Partners LLC have purchased the Brazos Mall, a nearly 681,000-sf mall here. This was an off-market transaction.
Brazos Mall is the only enclosed retail center in the Brazosport area that benefits from the $30 billion on-going investments planned for completion in 2020. These include Dow’s new Texas Innovation Center and Port Freeport’s LNG terminals. Lake Jackson/Brazosport has a trade area population of over 132,000, and an average household income of nearly $70,000.
Built in 1976, Brazos Mall is presently 92 percent occupied with retailers such as JCPenney, Dillard’s, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle Outfitters, Hot Topic, and Ross Dress For Less.
