Trammell Crow Chalks up 475,000-SF warehouse project in Dallas

DALLAS – Developer Trammell Crow Co. is working on plans for a major industrial project west of downtown Dallas near I-30.

Crow plans to start construction early next year on the 475,000-sf speculative warehouse project on Chalk Hill Rd., according to documents filed with the Dallas Economic Development Committee.

The more than $15 million development will be constructed on a 35.6-acre property Crow has contracted to purchase.

The development is near the Pinnacle Park industrial park where Crow has built several warehouses.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the country’s top warehouse leasing markets. So far in 2015, expanding and relocating companies have net leased about 11 million sf of North Texas industrial space.
