DALLAS – Chicago real estate firm GlenStar Properties and USAA Real Estate have purchased the landmark Meadows Building. They will renovate the 60-year-old high-rise on North Central Expressway.
The nine-story office building at North Central and Milton St. was built by Dallas oilman Algur Meadows in 1955. It was one of the first such developments outside of downtown.
The 167,000-sf Meadows Building has been owned since 2003 by a partnership that includes a California-based investor.
Cushman & Wakefield was hired to market the building, which is more than 90 percent leased to more than 100 tenants.
Commercial real estate firm JLL is handling leasing.
