TEXAS - The most recent hotel occupancy tax receipts from
the Texas State Comptroller's office show that Texas hotels brought in more than $857
million in July 2015. That is quite a jump from June's $805 million receipts.
Of the Texas hotels that brought in the most taxable money,
San Antonio had six hotels in the top 30 while Austin, Dallas and Houston each
On average, the top 30 hotels each brought in about $3.1 million in
pictures of the top 30 hotels at the Houston Chronicle.
