SAN ANTONIO – While still not quite the level reached in
first quarter 2015, San Antonio’s industrial market posted another strong
quarter of net absorption over 200,000 sf for 3Q 2015, according to CBRE’s
San Antonio Industrial MarketView report.

The year-to-date total for 2015 now stands at 807,086 sf of
positive net absorption, 220,000 sf more than just a year ago.

The
major deals that drove the absorption included a confidential tenant taking
193,000 sf at 1410 Callaghan and American Freight Furniture & Mattress
leasing 43,500 sf at 639 Lanark Dr.

However, vacancy still rose by 10 basis points and remained
below 9 percent by finishing the quarter at 7.5 percent.

Product under construction surpasses 1 million sf,
while development delivered to the market nears 500,000 sf with a building in
the south completing construction.
