HOUSTON - Atlanta-based Cousins Properties has finished $5 million in renovations to Three Greenway Plaza that included a new lobby and concourse level, with modern finishes and new art installations.
The renovation took place as Irving, Texas-based Exxon Mobil Corp. vacated 215,000 sf as part of the company's move to its new campus.
Bob Boykin, senior vice president at Cousins, said a financial firm moved its offices from 3800 Buffalo Speedway, another Greenway Plaza building, into some of the space Exxon left behind and expanded its footprint to 50,000 sf.
Cousins backfilled 16,000 sf of the space the financial firm left to Jones McClure, a Houston-based legal publishing company. Boykin said the company is working on a full-floor deal, which would knock down another 24,000 sf.
Cousins has begun phase two of the renovations, which includes updated lighting and flooring in the food court area, as well as a new fitness center for the complex.
