93,000-SF City of McAllen Performing Arts Center tops out

​​​McALLEN – A topping out ceremony, commemorating reaching the highest point of the structure, was held for the City of McAllen Performing Arts Center at 801 Convention Center Blvd.

When complete, the four-level City of McAllen Performing Arts Center will total 93,471 sf and seat approximately 1,800 spectators.

The venue is designed to accommodate full-scale Broadway productions. The design of the facility includes cast-in-place concrete walls approximately 90 feet high at the perimeter and interior of the stage and proscenium.

The project site is located directly southeast of the McAllen Convention Center.
