Dallas Hilton Anatole dives into $15M resort pool
DALLAS – Iconic Dallas hotel the Hilton Anatole has announced plans to break ground later this month on a $15 million resort pool.
Plans for the three-acre facility near the hotel’s sculpture garden include three parts: a 4,100-sf leisure pool, 6,500-sf activity pool with beach-entry and a double 30-foot slide, as well as a lazy river spanning 14 feet wide by 630 feet long.
Plans also call for two event lawns and an adult pool that can be rented for parties.
The leisure pool area will be open year round, while the other two sections will be available between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Roughly 150 seasonal workers will be hired to staff the amenities, which are slated to be open in time for Memorial Day 2016.
Anatole’s owners — the Crow family — are also providing funding for the project, which will wipe out the hotel’s existing tennis courts.
