San Antonio: residential projects radiate from Pearl
SAN ANTONIO – As a multitude of residential projects gear up,
continue or begin to wrap up construction, renters and homebuyers will soon
have a wide variety of housing options in the area radiating out from the
Pearl.
The latest project ready to start turning dirt is the
27-townhome Sojo Crossing development, which provides a small boost to the area’s for-sale supply. Units are priced from $400,000., according to Sojo Crossing’s website.
Brought by SOJO Urban Development LLC — a local
development team — the project is in the final stages of securing construction financing
and picking out final materials.
The Cellars at the Pearl, a ten-story high-rise with 123
units, is quickly coming together and already has a waiting list that grows
longer by the day.
Argyle Residential’s 302-unit Rivera development at 1130
Broadway is also taking shape, and was one of the first signs of an outside
developer ready to leap into the city’s thriving River North market.
Other developments led by out-of-town firms include
Indianapolis-based SC Bodner’s 220-unit 120 Ninth St. development as well as
Alamo Manhattan’s 191-unit apartment complex at 111 W. Jones Ave.
The area’s residential market has seen an
enormous amount of growth — for both rents and supply — that an increasing
number of developers, investors and tenants are continuing to fuel.
