Allen’s Watters Creek streams to 136-room Aloft Hotel

​​​​ALLEN – The Watters Creek mixed-use development — located at North Central and West Bethany Dr. —  is getting a 136-room Aloft hotel by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.​

Facilities at Aloft Allen will include an outdoor Splash pool, a 24-hour gym, the brand’s signature W XYZ bar and re:fuel at Aloft, a one-stop gourmet grab-and-go food and beverage area. 

Watters Creek — a 750,000-sf development which opened in 2008 — is currently adding 109 apartments in a new building at the south end of the complex. 

The hotel will be built nearby and open in 2018.

Watters Creek is just across Bethany Dr. from where the City of Allen plans to build an $85 million project including a new 290-room hotel and convention complex.​
