Tree hoisted! Skanska tops out West Memorial Place II in Houston

HOUSTON – Skanska reached a construction milestone with the topping out of West Memorial Place II, the second office building of its 12-acre development in the Energy Corridor.

Skanska hoisted a tree to the top of the 14-story office building — located at 15377 Memorial Dr. — as is tradition when a building reaches its final height.

Completion of the 385,000-sf building is planned for second quarter 2016.

IHI E&C has leased 160,000 sf or 42 percent of the building.
