​​​​​LEAGUE CITY – ​NewQuest properties goes vertical next month on phase one of Marketplace at Ninety-Six, a Kroger-anchored development on 36 acres.

Site work is underway at the intersection of SH 96/League City Pkwy. and Hobbs Rd., less than one mile west of I-45. 

Phase one, totaling $14.8 million, will be on 19.1 acres at the northeast corner of the intersection. The 123,000-sf Kroger Marketplace and 25,900 sf of small shop space will open next October. The retail opportunity includes two roughly one-acre pad sites.​

Phase two will have six pad sites, each averaging one acre. Groundbreaking for the 18.9-acre site on the southeast corner will be in 2017. 

Houston-based Osborn & Vane Architects designed Marketplace at Ninety-Six. The Houston-based project team also includes CMB Landscape Architecture and Arch-Con Corp., the general contractor.
