Katy Boardwalk District in the works

​​​​​​KATY – The Katy Development Authority and Sueba USA Corporation are partnering on the development of a Boardwalk District on 22 acres next to Katy Mills Mall.

Sueba will build a mixed-use development consisting of residential lofts, retail and restaurant facilities and a public plaza. Plans also include a convention center, hotel and restaurant row. 

It will be anchored by an 89​-acre nature park with a central lake, boardwalks, nature preserves and two miles of walking trails. 

Construction of the nature park will begin this winter with completion and public opening expected by the end of 2016.
