SAN ANTONIO – A Massachusetts-based hospitality group is
diving into the Texas market after acquiring a three-property hotel portfolio,
which includes the Hyatt Place San Antonio Airport.

Hotel acquisitions throughout the city have been ramping up
over the year, and for Linchris Hotel Corporation’s latest purchase, it will
serve as an entry point into San Antonio.

Along with the 128-unit airport hotel, the portfolio
included two other Hyatt Place-branded properties in Austin and Grand Prairie,
Texas.

According to Real Capital Analytics, the San Antonio hotel
at 7615 Jones Maltsberger Rd. is worth an estimated $12 million, and along with
the 128-room Hyatt Place Austin Arboretum and the 135-room Hyatt Place
Dallas/North Arlington/Grand Prairie, all three properties are valued at a
collective $48 million.
