SAN ANTONIO – Local real estate legend Walter M. Embrey Jr. has made a $1 million gift in support of graduate student real estate education at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) College of Business.
In recognition of his gift, the college’s planned two-year, cohort-based master’s program will be named the Embrey Real Estate Finance and Development Program.
Embrey is the founder and chief executive officer of Embrey Partners, a 41-year-old firm that has partnered in projects that total 40 million sf in ten states.
