Bryan business boom brings ATLAS Town Center to the next phase
BRYAN – A building boom continues in Bryan for homes and hotels.
From January to August, values for construction in Bryan topped $129 million, up from $94 million the same time last year.
Although values may be up, building permits are actually down to 927 compared to 988 permits at the same time last year.
ATLAS Town Center is a community targeting those who want to work and live near the Brazos Valley’s booming BioCorridor, and is in the next phase of development. Building incentives are one of the major reasons why ATLAS is setting up shop.
The Stella Hotel broke ground at the site near Traditions Golf Club in Bryan last month.
Plans have been announced for a Jumping World USA Trampoline Park next to the Bryan Target.
The city is also working to redevelop the old Ice House on North Main St. Downtown, and offering incentives to developers who would have the property conveyed to them if they meet certain requirements.
