​VICTORIA – The Swearingen Report for residential homes has
been released for the 12 months ending August 2015 by Coldwell Banker The Ron
Brown Company.

The average sales price for residential homes was $193,144, up
8.9 percent versus August 2014 when it was $177,402.

The median price of residential homes was $172,950, up 8.1
percent versus August 2014 when it was $160,000.

Total sales of residential homes in Victoria MLS for August
2015 was 908, 1.4 percent (13 homes) less than August 2014.

The average Days on Market for residential homes for August
2015 was 88, 1.2 percent longer than the same period last year.

Total building permits for Victoria city limits for August
2015 were 151, up 4.9 percent compared to August 2014 when the number of
permits was 144.
