HARLINGEN - Soon culinary enthusiasts will be able to enjoy two food truck parks in the city as some vendors with the newly established FoodTruckPark will be moving to a bigger location at Valle Vista Mall.

After seeing what McAllen had done with the food truck park idea, the Harlingen Chamber involved the city and ordinances were changed to accommodate the vendors at the first location. The park opened at the chamber parking lot, 311 E. Tyler Ave., on August 27.

FoodTruckPark patrons can continue to enjoy gourmet grub and scrumptious snacks, including small plates, appetizers, hand-held and baked goods from a variety of food trucks.

Local vendors heading to the new location — at Valle Vista Mall — will include Frankie Flav'z, Pit Stop BBQ, PMQ Food That Rocks, Sweet Blessings, E & E Kettle Corn, Enchiladas R Us, Bros BBQ and more.

The FoodTruckPark will be set up in the mall parking lot facing Dixieland Rd. near Big Lots.

Patrons can continue to visit the FoodTruckPark located at 311 E. Tyler. There, eaters will still be able to enjoy The Whodeewho Food Truck, Espetinhos Brazilian Style, Pit Stop BBQ and Dirty Al's Seafood Market & Cajun Kitchen.
