​​​​PLANO – Boston-based Liberty Mutual Insurance breaks ground on its new campus in the $2 billion Legacy West development Wednesday.

The 19-story, nearly one million-sf office tower will house roughly 4,000 employees. It is expected to be 20 percent more energy efficient than similar towers.

​KDC is the project developer, Omniplan is the project architect, Studio Outside is the landscape architect, Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer and Balfour Beatty Construction is the general contractor. ​
