PLANO - Oregon-based high-tech firm APCON is moving its Richardson regional office to a new building in Plano.

The company, which produces network-monitoring equipment, is building a 58,000-sf office at Coit Rd. and Mapleshade Lane.

The project is already under construction and will open next year.

The new regional office facilities will include a fitness center, cafeteria and outdoor areas for employees.

Richard Rauch, president and CEO of APCON, said the company has outgrown its Richardson offices on Bush Turnpike and the new building will allow future workforce expansions.
