​​​​FORT WORTH – Local oil and gas firm Jetta Operating Company Inc. will move its headquarters into an upcoming 25-story office tower called 640 Taylor.

Jetta will occupy about 70,000 sf of the 313,000-sf, Class-AA glass-and-steel office tower at Taylor and West 5th streets.

The tower will have 274,000 sf of rentable office space, 920 above- and below-grade parking spaces, 6,000 sf of ground-level retail and about 32,000 sf of amenities on the 12th and 13th floors. Those will include a restaurant, conference and events center and terraces with views of the city's skyline.

Jetta's real estate arm, Anthracite Realty Partners, is overseeing the development with Stream Realty Partners. 

​640 Taylor will be the first high-rise development in the city's central business district since 2008. ​Construction is slated to begin next quarter​​​ 2015 with completion in 2017. ​
