​​​CORPUS CHRISTI – Corpus Christi was ranked ninth in the
country of export leaders, according to the Corpus Christi Regional Economic
Development Corp.

The rankings are based on the value of goods shipped.

Texas and California continue to lead the United States in exports,
and the two states were also ranked as the top two manufacturing states in the
country.

Texas was ranked first for best infrastructure,
fifth for economic growth potential, tenth for best business tax
climate, third for credit quality, first for installed wind power capacity
leader and ninth for automotive manufacturing strength.
