DALLAS – Westdale Properties and StreetLights Residential are building a 17-story apartment tower at Main and Hall streets, just south of Baylor Medical Center.

The 337-unit tower, called The Case Building, will be the first high-rise apartment complex in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, a former industrial and commercial district just east of downtown.

To fit into the old commercial district, the new tower will be built in what the developers call an "industrial style." Units will have ten-foot concrete ceilings, exposed brick walls and open metal shelving in the kitchens.

Amenities include a fitness center, private dining room, swimming pool, conference center and a bike storage center with repair area.
