42.5 acres ‘checked-out’ by H-E-B in San Antonio

​​SAN ANTONIO – H-E-B has just closed on a 42.5-acre site at 5721
Rittiman Rd., just a short walk away from the 80,000-sf industrial
facility it purchased in late July.

According to Real Capital Analytics, the grocery retailer acquired the 1,851,531-sf property for redevelopment purchases.

In
2015 alone, H-E-B has made $12 million in land acquisitions, a sign
that the grocer has every intention of not only maintaining, but also
growing its stake in the city’s market.
