​​​KATY – Parkside Grand Parkway — a 354-unit community developed in
partnership with Desarrollos Delta of Monterrey, Mexico — has been
acquired by Canadian-based EGI International Corp.

The new owner financed the deal with a $35.3 million loan from the American General Life Insurance Co.

Parkside Grand Parkway delivered in March 2014 on a 14-acre site near I-10 in the Cinco Ranch North Multifamily submarket.

The
community consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging
from 625 to 1,400 sf in size and is located at the southwest corner of
Katy Fort Bend Rd. and Grand Parkway in the Katy Independent School
District. Rent ranges from $954 to $2,150​.
