COPPELL (GlobeSt.com) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday for the largest, nonterminal building ever constructed at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Logistics Center I is a more than one million-sf spec property on 60 acres at 2701 W. Bethel Rd. It has minimum 36-foot clear height, more than 200 dock doors, 550 parking spaces and 500 trailer storage spaces. It also has 50×56-foot bays, 60-foot shipping bays and an ESFR fire protection system.

Hillwood Investment Properties and Perot Development Co. developed the project. Halff Associates was the project architect and civil engineer, and Hillwood Construction Services was the general contractor.

The developers expect to break ground later this year on Logistics Center II.
